The Naolinco, Mexico is a clean, clear and crisp washed coffee from Mexico. Being that this coffee comes from a variety of community lots, we were able to bring this one at a more approachable price, yet do not let the price mislead you. This offering is an amazingly complex and beautiful lot that still has lots more to explore. This offering comes from the district of Naolinco, which is made up of smaller towns of about 30-50 residents each. Many residents who farm coffee in this region use the ice cream bean trees as companion crop and shade for the coffee plants on their properties. This lot was picked by producers in cherry and driven by car (opposed to mule) to the processing plant in Coatepec. Here it is washed, fermented and mechanically dried before being sent state side.
