The Holiday Blend is a new coffee this year for us, combining a clean and delicate washed Colombian with a wild and loud co ferment. We decided to go with a coffee from Jose Posada for this co ferment as Jose has made a great name for himself in the work he does revolving around experimental fermentations. Jose is continually trying new things and pushing the envelope for what coffee can be and we love that and want to support that. This Irish cream co ferment is a wild one at that, with a close to authentic Irish cream flavor. While the coffee is not actually fermented with Irish cream, Jose worked on creating an assortment of spices and fruits to ferment the coffee with to get to this Irish cream desired flavor. This coffee is also special to us as 20% of each box sold will be donated to Randall Children’s Hospital here in Portland.
