In late July of 2023, we released a dynamic duo along side our summer blend, the Backyard Blend. These two coffees were the Hateso Lot 2 from Ethiopia and the Huellas from Peru. Two beautiful, clean and palateable washed coffees! For August we could not pick just one offering and instead wanted to showcase both of them as our coffee highlights, as they have been driving our single origin project throughout these warm months in Oregon.
The Hateso Lot 2 from Ethiopia is full of life with notes of watermelon, sparkling soda and bright nectarine. This coffee also has a creamy like body which pairs well with its sweet fruit flavors.
Our Huellas from Peru will take you in a totally different direction. This coffee is extremely thick in its’ body and texture and almost reminds us of chocolate milk. There are some notes of honey sweetness and citrus fruit that create a delightful cup that keeps us coming back to this coffee.
